Requirements
Basic qualification accredited with South African Nursing Council in terms of Government Notice R425 (Degree/Diploma in Nursing. Diploma / degree in Nursing Management or Health Management as an added advantage. Current registration with South African Nursing Council. A minimum of 8 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/ recognisable experience at management level. Minimum of three (3) years working experience in Clinical Forensic Medical Services. Basic understanding of PFMA and relevant legislative frameworks that govern Clinical Forensic Medical Services and related services. Good communication skills (reporting writing and presentation skills are essential). A valid driverβs licence and the ability to drive are essential. Computer literacy and sound interpersonal skills are also required.
