Salary: R413 001 per annum (Level 08), plus benefits as applicable in the Public Sector

Requirements

A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate. A recognised three-year National Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification, ITIL V3/V4 Foundation or COBIT and Server Administration Certification are required. Candidates must have at least three years’ relevant experience in ICT support and hands on server experience, a valid driver’s licence, and proven experience in hardware, software, networking and ICT infrastructure support. Knowledge of server administration, desktop support, Wi-Fi, Active Directory, DHCP, VoIP, ICT security, help desk operations and second line IT support is essential. Relevant ICT certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, HCIA, VMware, Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate and CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage. Strong communication, customer service, problem- solving, planning and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required, are essential.
